Southbound on the ICW for the Falcon 9 Launch
What started as a simple travel day turned into one of our most memorable yet. Dockside goodbyes, a bald eagle sighting, dolphins and manatees, and a front-row view of a Falcon 9 launch at anchor.
Where The Wild Still Lives
We made the 120nm run to Cumberland Island on a friend’s recommendation and found a place unlike anywhere else. Feral horses, untouched beaches, and a history that runs deeper than the dunes. Two quiet days here were the perfect reset before continuing south.
Savannah Photos
A quick stop in Savannah after our thanksgiving feast gave us time to explore the city, visit the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force, enjoy some amazing food and finally decorate the boat for Christmas. This post is a photo dump from those days.

The Reality of Cruising as a Family
Cruising isn’t just the pretty Instagram moments. As we make our way south, we’re realizing this journey is equal parts beautiful and chaotic. Early mornings, tight spaces, schoolwork battles, brother scuffles, and plenty of growing pains. It’s not always easy, but it’s honest, and it’s slowly shaping us into a stronger, more connected little crew.

New York City
A chilly morning turned into the best day ever. Comics, ramen, and NYC adventures! So glad I listened to that little tingle that said, “stay awake, something fun is coming!”
Mystic Seaport
Next up: Theo’s Take on Mystic!
After arriving safely in Mystic, we spent a couple of days exploring the Seaport, checking out old ships, and learning what life was like in the 1800s. Theo’s going to share all the fun details. From climbing aboard historic vessels to watching the blacksmith at work. Stay tuned for his post about our time at Mystic Seaport!
